There IS an TV movie coming for MLP: FIM.

A second MLP show is also being made, targeting Older girls. (IDK what to make of that, it could end up absolutely terrible.)

EQD's post is not titled right. The movie is for FiM, and Equestria Girls is the NEW MLP IP that they are going to announce and show of and SDCC.

Since the target audience is different they will probably run the show along side FiM.

I dont really know how to react to this

I am intrigued, but I shall reserve judgment for when they appear.

Guy's you're missing the most important part of that presentation.

Well rumors are now abound on the new show, and they are pretty solid ones because they come from an inside the toy industry magazine at the toy fair thing that was going on.

I realize that they didn't give the humanized ponies real skin colors because bronies would flip out about their headconons being ruined, but with their skin being the color of their pony coats, they look like weirdedy-ass aliens.
They made some weird design choices, I think.

I would be wary of that image. It originated on an anti-brony hate blog, stating that they had received it from their friends at hasbro. Make of it what you will.

Even if that is not the final designs and is jsut a rumor, ihe evidence for the topic of the show is very solid.

EDIT: I also want the screenshot to be accurate because I like the character designs there, other than the weird skin, but that is probably because of the head cannon issue. AJ is the only one I would change because she is in a skirt... and would probably wear jeans instead.

Maybe those odd skin colors will look normal after a while. And I don't think not assigning races to the characters would be just because of us. I know from the beginning that they did not indend to give the mane characters a race

Head cannon things for the characters. It also fits the feel of Friendship is Magic's art style, If humans did some how get into equestria they would probably look like that. They look terrible outside of that.

Specifically Rainbow dash being a Tomboy, with long hair, also her being flat as a board, that is my head cannon.
